Research

My research uses and develops methods and measures from network and computational social science to understand various organizational problems, including gender and racial inequality, health care reform, and creativity and innovation. I also have a complementary stream of work that focuses on corporate political activity, looking in particular at how organizations use market actions like innovation as a form of political influence.

This page lists some of my representative publication and grants. For a more complete listing, see my CV and/or Google Scholar profile.
